"Cooking With Kinders" (CWK) is a 10-month curriculum consisting of recipes, extension activities and original music designed by a Kindergarten teacher/musician and mother of two, Regina Koepf.
The CWK method allows teachers to expose children to nutrition while also delivering content instruction in Literacy, Math, Science, Social Studies and Music. Aside from the practical applications, the cooking activities foster togetherness between adults and children creating meaningful memories that can then be applied to lessons in all subject areas.
On the accompanying CD, "Little Echoes", original songs serve to enhance the lessons by reinforcing age-appropriate healthy habits and character virtues.
